Grimoire of Zero (ゼロから始める魔法の書 Zero kara Hajimeru Mahō no Sho?) is an anime series adaptation of the light novel of the same name, produced by White Fox which premiered on April 10th, 2017. The anime series is being directed by Tetsuo Hirakawa with music by Lantis and Akito Matsuda, and character designs by Ryosuke Kimiya and Daisuke Mataga based on the original designs by Yoshinori Shizuma.
After the conclusion with its twelve episode, fans are awaiting news of a second season that follows on the further adventures of Thirteen's son and his four best friends in the ongoing 2022 spinoff sequel , in the hope of seeing more of Mercenary and Zero, and reappearance of Thirteen himself, as he is still alive somewhere in the mystical Moonsbow Forest.
Plot[]
In the year 526, humanity became aware of witches and their sorcery. A half man, half beast mercenary known as a "Beastfallen" desires to be a full human. He meets a witch named Zero, who offers to help him become human if he helps her get back "The Grimoire of Zero", which bandits stole from her.
