Spells of the Grimoire of Zero

At the end of each incantation, the caster end s with "Grant me power, for I am..." adding their current name but not their secret true name.

Chapter One: Hunting

• Leks : "Karlo rai, fire, lodge here. The book of Hunting, Verse One : Leks. ..."

This spell makes a little flame. The demon that makes it is a little pixie, it can be killed in one hand strengh and is invoked by saying "Vocale vestre gulo video omnis vides casam ego dicere meam nisum audi qui habitent in ignem calo lai lex fiat" (can be translated to : "The glutton that uses a voice watches all, you watch the house talk to me, standing on listening to you that called the flames by leaving the fixed rule."). Zero invokes it as an example in Chapter 2 of the manga. Zero uses it in the chapter 4 of the manga. Mercenary tried this spell but he can't make it happen.

This summons an arrow made entirely of magic and also make a bow out of magic. Staim is used by Albus in the first chapter of the manga and the first episode of the anime.

• Redaest - Break rocks or trees by making an explosion in it. It has been used to kill people in Latet by breaking a pillar.

• Flagis - "Bug, do, gu, raat, gather, world-destroying conflagration, burst and burn. The book of Hunting, Verse Six, Flagis. ..."

This fire-based elemental spell makes a flame that consume only the target, it never propagates, even in a forest or a town. It can also be used to make a thunder bolt. Albus uses it but Zero stops the spell before we can see its power. It is later used in Latet. Thirteen uses the lightning bolt version to attack Albus. Once perfected, it becomes regular orange-and-yellow flames that freely incinerate several targets all at once, which Hort had been further developing for quite some time from Zero's tutelage.

• Kabrata- Meaza, Li, Kib, writhing vines. The Book of Hunting, Verse Eight, Kabrata

This spell traps someone within vines. Zero uses is to trap the Ebleboar.

Chapter Two: Capture

Etorak-"The Book of Capturing, Verse Three, Etorak. ..."I t seems this spell can be used to free someone from Etorak (as Zero tells just after using Etorak to trap Albus

Chapter Three: Harvesting

• Solm : "Iza Yah. Light, Gather. The book of Harvesting, Verse One, Solm. ..."

It creates a light, but it's quoted by Kudo to "not being it's main purpose". Used in the tenth chapter of Mahoutsukai no Reimeiki.

• Frutoria : part of spell unknown "The book of Harvesting, Verse Four, Frutoria. ..."

Frutoria seems to gather food for you. Albus and Zero uses this spell to collect fishes in a river in the anime.

• Kudola : part of spell unknown "The book of Harvesting, Verse Eight, Kudola. ..."

Kudola seems to make a wind blow over a large area. Zero uses it to get away from the cave in the first chapter of the novel.

Chapter Four: Protection

• Cordia : "Iya do kuch, so the blood flows within the flesh. The book of Safeguarding, Verse One, Codia. ..." that heals small or fatal flesh wounds but cannot return one to life. Albus heals someone in the church using it.

This is the strongest and most deadly of spells that is forbidden from being cast due its destructive and deadly effects on, not only its intended victims, butt hose around them as well. Zero and Thirteen had used this against one another in their duel, with Thirteen's incantations showing a bit of red from errors placed in them by Zero herself. Five years later, the teenage Zero had unleashed its full powers onto a demon possessed by calling forth hordes of undead corpses from the Gate of Decay.

Nonverbal Spells from Unspecified Chapters

• Unnamed spell : This spell exchanges the damage taken at the place where it has been cast. Zero uses it while Mercenary showers.
• Unnamed spell : This spell remove all fur on someone's body. Zero uses it on Holdem.
• Unnamed spell : This spell seems to remove humidity at designated places. Zero uses it on Mercenary after he showered.
• Unnamed spell : This spell can stop disease. Saurenna used it to save a village before she was killed.
• Unnamed spell : This spell makes disease. Zero calls it a begginer's spell and it was used on a village that Saurenna tried to save.
• Lament : Lament invoke cutting winds made of magic generally used to cut high branches. It has been used in Latet to kill people.
• Unnamed spell : This spell can make illusion appear or disappear. It has been used by Albus to reveal the passage in the church.
• Unnamed spell : This spell can open doors. It has been used by Zero in the church.
• Unnamed spell : This spell makes an eye spy that teleport someone to a specified destination. It has been set by thirteen in the church.
• Unnamed spell : This spell call beast to come and help you. It has been used by Thirteen to kill witches in the anime.
